Juan Argento


Prior to joining Horizon Capital in 2010, Juan was a consultant to Millennium Global, a London-based USD 13 billion hedge fund group. Juan advised Millennium regarding investments in public markets as well as private investments. He was particularly active in mining, oil & gas, and agriculture. Prior to Millennium, Juan worked for Rubikon Partners, a mid-market private equity firm, focused on the European market and chaired by Dr. Henry Kissinger. At age 27, Juan started Circulo Asegurador, one of the first online insurance brokers in South America, with operations in Brazil and Argentina. Edgar Bronfman Jr. was an important investor in Circulo. Prior to that, in 1997, Juan was an early recruit of Texas Pacific Group and worked for them in the US and Argentina. He started his professional career in New York at age 23, working for Salomon Brothers. Juan graduated with honors in Economics from Harvard University.

Juan Pablo Schulman


Mr. Schulman is a founding partner of Horizon Partners and joined its predecessor firm (Horizon Capital) in 2005. He has advised clients in the structuring, analysis, valuation, and negotiation of complex transactions (M&A, debt, and equity) with value in excess of USD 1 billion and primary focus on the Latin American energy industry. He has also been responsible for the negotiation of corporate debt restructurings and has been active in private equity transactions. Prior to joining Horizon, Mr. Schulman worked as a financial analyst for Zurich Financial Services and for the Center for Financial Stability, a leading Argentine think tank. Mr. Schulman holds a B.S.Ec. degree from Universidad Nacional de Tucumán and an M.S. in Finance from Universidad de San Andrés in Buenos Aires.

Leonardo Rispoli


Leonardo joined Horizon in 2018 from Natura Cosméticos, where he was performance control supervisor. Previously, he was a senior financial analyst at Tenaris and a planning analyst at Banco Meridian, an Argentine bank. Leonardo holds a B.S. in Economics (magna cum laude) from University of Buenos Aires and a M.S. in Finance from Universidad de San Andrés.

Jose Ignacio Troccoli


Jose Ignacio joined Horizon Capital in 2018. Previously he was a credit risk analyst and a CIB analyst at JP Morgan. Before that, he worked at Coca-Cola and Glencore. Additionally, he was assistant professor and researcher at Universidad Nacional del Sur. Jose Ignacio holds a B.S. in Business from Universidad Nacional del Sur, having the highest GPA of his class. He also received a MSc in Finance (with Distinction) from Cass Business School (City, University of London), where he was awarded with the Beta Gamma Sigma membership for being in the top 10% of his class.
